The Kampeter family

Meet Shane

Husband. Father. Builder. Conservative.

Jefferson City Roots

From Immaculate Conception to Lincoln University.

Born and raised in Jefferson City. Shane attended Immaculate Conception for grade school and graduated from Helias Catholic High School in 2004. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from Lincoln University in 2008 — never leaving the community he loves.

Service to Missouri

11 Years Serving the State.

Shane served the state of Missouri for 11 years as a civilian employee in the Missouri Army National Guard's environmental office before stepping out to build his own business.

Small Business Owner

He's Met a Payroll. He's Navigated Regulation.

Shane is the owner of Kampeter Remodeling, a Jefferson City construction and remodeling company, and co-owner of GKS Management, which develops and manages properties in the community. He knows firsthand what it takes to build something from the ground up — and what red tape does to small employers.

I'm running because Jefferson City deserves a representative who lives our values every day — not just at election time.

— Shane Kampeter

Family Man

Married to His Grade-School Sweetheart.

Shane met his wife in grade school — they've been together ever since. She is a Registered Nurse who now works from home. Together they have three children: Gabrielle (21), Katherine (16), and Samuel (15). Shane has coached all three of his kids through their athletic careers.

Faith & Community

Rooted in the Parish and the Community.

A parishioner at St. Stanislaus, a Knights of Columbus member, a homeless shelter volunteer, and a youth sports coach — Shane shows up for his neighbors year-round, not just at election time.

Outside the Capitol

On the River with His Family.

When he's not working or volunteering, Shane is on the river with his family, fishing, playing pickleball, or scuba diving with his son. This year, he and Samuel are training to compete together in the MR340 — the world's longest non-stop river race.
